SMALL GROUPS

"Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah." Acts 5:24 NIV

Small Groups are designed to build relationships through common interests. They exist to create connection points between those who regularly attend Lighthouse Church. At the same time, small groups give us a chance to go and make disciples and be a point of light for our community. Attending a small group is a great way to build faith, connect with others, and evangelize our city.

First Steps is our group that helps you get connected to Lighthouse. We address who we are, who you are, why you'll love it here, and how to join the Dream Team. We believe in serving and being involved, and signing up for First Steps is your way to do it!

What is a Small Group?

A small group is a way that we connect, build the kingdom, and make disciples according to the mission of Matthew 28:19. Groups look like many different things - Bible studies, coffee meetups, sports groups, and community-focused initiatives. We like to say around here that a small group is something you love + other people + Jesus.

Why do we need Small Groups?

Once Jesus left the earth bodily, his disciples began going from people to people, meeting in houses, and forming small groups of followers that changed the world. The small group model still works today. In smaller groups, we can connect with each other and give our community a glimpse of the kingdom at work in Jackson.
