Small Groups are designed to build relationships through common interests. They exist to create connection points between those who regularly attend Lighthouse Church. At the same time, small groups gives us a chance to go and make disciples and be a point of light for our community. Attending a small group is a great way to build faith, connect with others, and have a ton of fun.
ANYONE can lead a small group. No matter your gifts, talents, or interests, we fully believe God has equipped you to lead a group from your strengths.

WHAT IS A SMALL GROUP?
A small group is a way that we connect with each other, build the kingdom, and make disciples according to the mission of Matthew 28:19. Groups look like many different things- Bible studies, coffee meetups, sports groups, and community focused initiatives. |

WHY DO WE NEED SMALL GROUPS?
Once Jesus left the earth bodily, his disciples began going from people to people, meeting in houses, and forming small groups of followers that changed the world. The small group model still works today. In smaller groups, we can connect with each other and give our community a glimpse of the kingdom at work in Jackson. |

Lattes & Laughs
Lattes and Laughs is a group that meets every Tuesday night at The Coffee Shop in Humboldt to enjoy coffee and laughs. We will be blessed with a devotion by a different lady every week.

Helping the Homeless
Our group will begin with learning how to make sleeping mats out of plastic grocery bags for the homeless to sleep on. We will also plan to serve at RIFA and organize a hygiene product collection drive to give out to the homeless in our community.

Marriage and a Meal
This group will consist of 4 couples who are wanting to enrich their marriages. Each get-together will include a meal (planned menu /potluck) followed by discussion as we go through the book "The 5 Love Languages" together. David and Bronda Davis will also share their personal testimony of hope for how God can put a marriage back together and make it even better than before. They have a burden and desire to help other couples accomplish what they have been blessed to achieve.
