Here at Lighthouse, we have created a community for kids called GLOW: Gods Light in Our World. Our greatest desire is to provide opportunities where kids are allowed to shine and become God’s Light. Our staff is called to serve our GlOW children, the community of Jackson, and the communities that surround Jackson in a way that is fun, interactive, and, most importantly, life changing. We will lead children into a growing relationship with Christ by creating environments in which children are encouraged to pursue friendship with God, make friends with good, uplifting people, understand and pursue their God-given gifts and talents, and positively affect their friends who do not know Jesus. At the earliest stages of their lives, our children are exposed to teaching that reinforces our vision statement through these steps
Children will be given the opportunity to experience God's love and forgiveness.
Children will be taught how to have healthy and positive relationships with their friends and family.
Children will be taught about their spiritual gifts and talents and how they can use them.
Children will be instructed in how to relate Christ to their friends and family in every day situations.
Every Wednesday at 7:00 pm GLOW Kids provides some form of worship opportunity or fun activity. Below is a description of the different activities we offer:
GLOW Kids Worship - 3 Wednesday nights a month we offer a kids worship service that is geared for their age level. Its filled with high energy games, puppets, worship and a high energy bible lesson. It is sure to be the highlight of your child's week. We offer this in 2 age groups: The Lil' Lights (ages 3-5) and The GLOW ages (6-11).
GLOW Kids Got Talent - We believe that all kids have talent and need to learn how to let that talent shine for Jesus. This is why 1 Wednesday night a month we offer a night where kids can choose to be apart of our GLOWrious Kid's Choir, GLOWrious Sign Team, or other various talents and hobbies that will help them in life.
BeTween - We offer a worship service for “tweens” one Wednesday night a month. Tweens are 10, 11, and 12 year olds who are “BeTween” being a child and a teenager. We feel that there are some challenges that this unique age group faces, and we desire to make sure they are spiritually equipped for their teenage years.
